Boiling point 437.7°C (760 mmHg), flash point 218.5°C, good thermal stability. Broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
Uses:Polyhexamethylene biguanide is a highly effective, broad-spectrum disinfectant and fungicide with mildew-proof properties. It is commonly used as a bactericidal and fungicidal agent in feminine washes, sanitary wipes and other personal care products, as well as in disinfection of fruits, vegetables and aquatic products, and in flocculation-disinfection treatment of wastewater.
