Decomposes upon heating and has oxidizing properties.
Uses:Mainly used as a cetane number improver for diesel fuel, improving the cetane number of diesel, enhancing cold-start performance and combustion efficiency, and reducing exhaust emissions. It is also used as a nitrate ester intermediate in organic synthesis.
