Uses:Used as a reagent for halogenation reactions and glycosylation of halogenated sugars. Used for deprotection of thiol protecting groups, alkene formation and etherification reactions. Also used as a catalyst in the generation of rhodium ion catalysts, alkynylation of hydrogen phosphites, and preparation of silyl ethers via hydrosilylation of aldehydes.
