Physical Properties:White crystalline powder, odorless, hygroscopic; readily soluble in ethylene glycol and propylene glycol, slightly soluble in water (slowly hydrolyzes in water), insoluble in non-polar solvents such as benzene and toluene; stable in air, decomposes upon heating.
Uses:Used as a catalyst for the polycondensation reaction of polyester (mainly PET), featuring high catalytic activity, low dosage and low toxicity. It accelerates esterification and polycondensation, and can also be used to prepare other antimony-containing compounds.
