Physical Properties:White to pale-yellow powder or granules with a slight characteristic odor. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in acetone, chloroform, benzene and other organic solvents. Relative density approximately 1.1; melting point approximately 95–105°C.
Uses:Mainly used as an ultra-fast vulcanization accelerator for natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber and latex. It provides fast curing and good plateau characteristics in sulfur-free or low-sulfur curing systems. It can also be used as a vulcanizing agent for synthetic rubbers and as an intermediate for fungicides and rubber chemicals.
