Uses:Diuron is a substituted urea herbicide with systemic and contact activity. It inhibits photosynthesis after absorption by plant roots or leaves, causing chlorosis and plant death. It is mainly used to control annual gramineous weeds and certain broadleaf weeds in cotton, soybean, tomato, tobacco, strawberry, grape, orchard and rubber plantation. At low doses, it can be used for selective weed control through position and time differences; at high doses, it acts as a non-selective herbicide.
