Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and fragrance alcohol. Its odor intensity is more than ten times that of nitrobenzene musks, with long-lasting scent and good diffusivity.
Uses:This product is a macrocyclic lactone synthetic musk widely used as a substitute for natural musk and as a fixative. It is suitable for high- and medium-grade cosmetics, soap perfumes, and lavender fougère fragrances, and is notably effective in the pretreatment of perfume alcohol. It can also be used as a fish bait additive in angling.
