Density approximately 1.14 g/cm³, melting point 76-80°C, high boiling point (does not boil before decomposition), flash point approximately 250°C. Easily soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform and other organic solvents; insoluble in water. Good thermal stability, low volatility, and excellent extraction resistance.
Uses:This product is a high molecular weight hindered phenolic antioxidant, widely used in polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, ABS resin and other plastics and elastomers to provide long-term thermal oxidative stability. Suitable for high-temperature processing and demanding service environments, it effectively delays material aging and extends the service life of finished products. It can also be compounded with phosphite secondary antioxidants for synergistic effects.
