Uses:Used as a key intermediate for the synthesis of fluorinated surfactants, fluorinated emulsifiers, and fluorinated pharmaceutical/agrochemical intermediates. It is also employed in the preparation of fluorinated polymers such as fluorinated polyurethanes and fluorinated acrylates, as well as water- and oil-repellent finishing agents and surface modifiers for textiles, leather and paper. Its fluorocarbon chain structure endows end products with excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and low surface energy.
