Uses:Used as a ligand in transition metal catalyzed reactions, commonly employed in palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling, hydroformylation and hydrogenation reactions to effectively tune the activity and selectivity of the catalyst. Also applied in the synthesis of organophosphine ligands and pharmaceutical intermediates.
