Uses:Silicon carbide is mainly used as an abrasive for manufacturing grinding wheels, sandpaper, and other abrasive tools; as a refractory material for high-temperature furnace linings and kiln furniture; in the electronics industry for manufacturing high-temperature, high-frequency, and high-power semiconductor devices; and also as a metallurgical deoxidizer and reinforcement material for engineering ceramics.
