Density approx. 1.03 g/cm³ (25°C), boiling point >250°C (decomp.), flash point >150°C (closed cup), HLB value approx. 10.9, cloud point (1% aqueous solution) approx. 30°C.
Uses:Mainly used as a nonionic surfactant in textile printing and dyeing as a leveling agent, penetrant and detergent; also used as an agricultural emulsifier, metal cleaning agent, emulsion polymerization emulsifier and oilfield production aid. It offers excellent emulsifying, dispersing, wetting and detergency properties and can be formulated with anionic, cationic and other nonionic surfactants.
