Physical Properties:Yellow to gray-green paste. Easily soluble in water, soluble in ether and ethanol. Decomposes with increasing temperature. Turns green in air and on exposure to light. Its solution decomposes in the presence of copper and iron ions. Non-flammable and non-explosive at room temperature, but should not be dried to prevent accidents.
Uses:Mainly used for producing diazo paper for blueprints, serving as the diazo component. Also used for dyeing and printing cotton fabrics, and can be used in combination to achieve desired shades.
