Physical Properties:Gray to grayish-white powder with good flowability. It possesses extremely low surface free energy, excellent thermal and chemical stability, electrical insulation, corrosion resistance, superhydrophobicity and waterproofness. It withstands temperatures above 350°C and has high breakdown voltage resistance.
Uses:Used as cathode material for lithium/fluorocarbon primary batteries and cathode composite material for lithium/manganese dioxide batteries, suitable for coin, pouch, cylindrical and special-shaped cells. In military applications, it is used in backup power supplies, communication and positioning systems. In industrial and civil applications, it is used in emergency backup power for offshore drilling platforms, marine rescue flashlights, micro endoscopes, implantable medical devices, remote control devices, instrumentation, and tire pressure monitoring systems. It also serves as a solid lubricant additive, dry ink additive, elastic seal additive, antioxidant catalyst support, chromatographic column packing, wear-resistant coating for wiper rubber, and release agent for powder metallurgy.
