Melting point about 72°C, boiling point about 108°C (decomposes). Unstable, prone to polymerization, store at low temperature and away from light.
Uses:Used as an organic synthesis intermediate for the preparation of dyes, pharmaceuticals, etc. In biochemistry, it serves as a marker of lipid peroxidation to detect oxidative stress.
