It exhibits a deep violet color in concentrated sulfuric acid, turning to light pink upon dilution. Maximum absorption wavelength is approximately 525 nm.
Uses:Primarily used for dyeing protein fibers and polyamide fibers such as wool, silk and nylon, applicable in neutral or weakly acidic baths. Also widely employed for coloring leather and bamboo/wood products, offering bright shades and good leveling properties.
