Uses:Used as a food emulsifier and thickener, as a lubricant and ointment base in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, and also as a leather fatliquoring agent and raw material for soap making. In research, it serves as a fatty acid glyceride reference standard for gas chromatographic analysis.
