Uses:Used for the treatment of transthyretin amyloidosis cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) and transthyretin amyloidosis polyneuropathy (ATTR-PN). The drug stabilizes the tetrameric structure of transthyretin (TTR) by binding to the thyroxine-binding site, preventing tetramer dissociation into monomers and thereby inhibiting the formation and deposition of amyloid fibrils.
