Physical Properties:Yellow uniform powder, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in most organic solvents. The aqueous solution appears yellow, and the dye can be salted out with sodium chloride or sodium sulfate. This anionic disazo dye exhibits excellent light fastness, washing fastness, and chlorine fastness, with high direct substantivity to cellulosic fibers.
Uses:Mainly used for dyeing and printing of cotton, linen, viscose and other cellulosic fiber fabrics, as well as for paper coloring, leather finishing and nylon fabric dyeing. It can be applied in neutral or weakly alkaline dyebaths with high color yield and good leveling properties, suitable for light to medium depth dyeing.
