It exhibits good surface activity and is capable of reducing the interfacial tension between oil and water.
Uses:Mainly used as an intermediate for synthetic detergents, emulsifiers, foaming agents and lubricants. In textile, paper and leather industries it serves as a softener and antistatic agent, improving softness and antistatic performance. It is also widely applied in the preparation of agricultural pesticide formulations, mineral flotation agents and rust inhibitors.
