Physical Properties:It appears as a pale yellow transparent liquid at room temperature and is readily soluble in water. It is cationic in acidic media and nonionic in neutral and alkaline media, exhibiting excellent foaming, foam-stabilizing and thickening properties. The 30% aqueous solution has a density of about 0.98 g/cm³, a boiling point of about 100°C, and a flash point above 100°C.
Uses:Used as a thickener and foam stabilizer in personal care products such as shampoos and shower gels. It is also applied in dishwashing detergents and industrial cleaning agents for detergency and antistatic effects.
