Physical Properties:A light yellow to colorless transparent viscous liquid at room temperature, easily soluble in water. It exhibits excellent foaming, foam stabilization, thickening and antistatic properties. It is mild to skin with low irritation. Density approx. 1.0 g/cm³, boiling point approx. 200°C (decomposes), flash point >100°C, molecular weight approx. 289.5. pH (1% aqueous solution) 6.0-8.0.
Uses:Mainly used in the preparation of shampoo, facial cleanser, shower gel and other personal care products as a mild surfactant and thickener. In industrial cleaning agents, it provides excellent foaming and detergency, and can also be used as an antistatic agent in textile auxiliaries.
