Physical Properties:White to pale yellow powder or granules, odorless and tasteless. Density: approx. 1.1 g/cm³; refractive index: approx. 1.49; softening point: 60–70°C; glass transition temperature: approx. 60°C. Soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, butanol, acetone, and esters; insoluble in water. It exhibits excellent transparency, weather resistance, and low-temperature resistance, as well as outstanding adhesion to glass, metals, and other materials.
Uses:Mainly used as an interlayer film for laminated glass, such as automotive windshields and architectural safety glass; also used in formulating anti-corrosion primers for metals, general-purpose primers, and coatings for wood and fiber products; and can be used as a film-forming resin for adhesives and inks.
