May absorb moisture and oxidize upon prolonged exposure to air.
Uses:Primarily used in the rubber industry as a vulcanization accelerator and crosslinking agent to improve heat resistance and anti-aging performance of rubber. Also serves as a metal ion chelating agent and heavy metal precipitant in wastewater treatment and metal surface finishing. It is an organic synthesis intermediate for the preparation of fungicides, antioxidants, and resin modifiers.
