Uses:Sodium erythorbate is a highly effective bio-based food antioxidant, preservative and color-enhancing agent, widely used in meat products, beverages, canned foods, alcoholic drinks and frozen foods. In meat products it acts as a color-developing aid that maintains color and prevents the formation of N-nitrosamines; in beverages and canned foods it prevents oxidative discoloration, off-flavors and turbidity, preserving the original flavor and extending shelf life.
