Physical Properties:Dark green uniform powder; easily soluble in water, giving a blue-green aqueous solution; slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone; insoluble in benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents; turns dark red in concentrated sulfuric acid and changes to green upon dilution.
Uses:Mainly used for dyeing and printing of protein fibers such as wool, silk, and nylon, as well as synthetic fibers; also applicable to leather dyeing. It produces bright shades and offers good leveling properties.
