Physical Properties:Blue-black uniform powder. Readily soluble in hot water, slightly soluble in ethanol, practically insoluble in common organic solvents such as acetone and benzene. The aqueous solution exhibits a blue-black shade and remains stable at pH 6-9. As an anionic polyazo direct dye, it provides good dye uptake and build-up.
Uses:Mainly used for dyeing and printing of cotton, viscose and other cellulosic fibers, suitable for exhaust, jig and continuous pad dyeing processes. It is also applied to one-bath disperse/direct dyeing of polyester/cotton blends, and to the coloration of silk, nylon and leather.
