Physical Properties:Pure product is a white crystalline solid with a melting point of approximately 165-170°C and extremely low vapor pressure. It is readily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone and dimethyl sulfoxide, while its water solubility is extremely low (approx. 0.03 mg/L). It is stable to light and heat, stable under acidic conditions, but susceptible to hydrolysis under strongly alkaline conditions.
Uses:Triflumuron is a benzoylurea insect growth regulator that interferes with the molting process of insects by inhibiting chitin synthesis, exhibiting excellent stomach and contact activity against lepidopteran larvae. It is primarily used to control leaf rollers, leaf miners, cotton bollworms, and gypsy moths on fruit trees, vegetables, cotton, and forest trees, with low toxicity to natural enemies and mammals and good environmental compatibility.
