Physical Properties:This product is a refined kerosene obtained by hydrodesulfurization of petroleum distillates. It appears as a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid. Density (15.6°C) is approximately 0.78-0.84 g/cm³, initial boiling point is about 150°C, and final boiling point is 250-300°C. Flash point (closed cup) is not lower than 38°C, and auto-ignition temperature is approximately 220°C. It is insoluble in water and readily soluble in alcohols, ethers, hydrocarbons and other organic solvents. The product features extremely low sulfur content, good combustion performance and chemical stability.
Uses:It is mainly used as a blending component for aviation kerosene and jet fuel. It is also used as an industrial solvent, cleaning agent, paint thinner and blending feedstock for low-sulfur fuel oil. Its low-sulfur characteristic makes it suitable for processes with strict sulfur content limits and for environmentally sensitive applications.
