Uses:It is used as a slurry modifier in the chemical industry and in the production of synthetic detergents. When added to synthetic washing powder, it reduces slurry viscosity and improves fluidity, making spray drying smoother and lowering energy consumption, thereby increasing production capacity; it increases the moisture content of washing powder by 2–4% and reduces cost; it promotes the hydration of pentasodium tripolyphosphate to improve anti-caking performance; and it reduces fine powder loss in spray tower tail gas, decreasing pollution and increasing output. The recommended dosage is 2–3% (by weight) of the detergent slurry.
