- 白色粉末，易溶于水，对湿敏感。专一催化RNA核糖部分3'和5'磷酸二酯键的裂解，形成2',3'-环磷酸衍生物寡核苷酸。水溶液在25℃以下相当稳定，最稳定pH范围2~4.5，最适pH 7.7，最适温度65℃，等电点pI 7.8。在中性pH下加热至100℃时产生沉淀。可被胎盘RNA酶抑制剂、氧钒-核糖核苷复合物、0.0005 mol/L Mg2+及DNA（竞争性抑制剂）抑制。

Physical Properties:White powder, readily soluble in water, moisture-sensitive. Specifically catalyzes the cleavage of 3'- and 5'-phosphodiester bonds in the ribose moiety of RNA, producing 2',3'-cyclic phosphate oligonucleotide derivatives. Aqueous solutions are fairly stable below 25 °C; most stable in the pH range 2–4.5, optimum pH 7.7, optimum temperature 65 °C, isoelectric point pI 7.8. Precipitates when heated to 100 °C at neutral pH. Inhibited by placental RNase inhibitor, vanadyl-ribonucleoside complexes, 0.0005 mol/L Mg2+, and DNA (competitive inhibitor).
Uses:Ribonuclease A is an endoribonuclease that specifically cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 3' end of pyrimidine residues in RNA, producing pyrimidine 3'-phosphates and oligonucleotides with terminal pyrimidine 3'-phosphates.
