Uses:Used as thickener, stabilizer and gelling agent in the food industry, can replace gum arabic in the production of gum drops, candies, soft sweets and preserved fruits, and is also used in mayonnaise, ice cream, salad dressings and condiments. In textiles, it serves as a warp sizing agent. In papermaking, it is used as a surface sizing agent, coating adhesive and wet-end additive. In fine chemicals, it is applied in cosmetics, skin care products and adhesives.
