Physical Properties:Light yellow to amber transparent solid, insoluble in water, soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and other organic solvents. It has good oxidation resistance, thermal stability and tackifying properties, with a relatively high softening point and low acid value.
Uses:Mainly used as a tackifying resin in adhesives, coatings, printing inks and electronic soldering fluxes, enhancing initial tack, holding power and thermal stability. It is also used to prepare modified rosin resins.
