Physical Properties:Light yellow to amber transparent glassy solid. Soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, terpenes, esters, ketones and orange oil; insoluble in water and ethanol. Softening point 80-90°C, with good antioxidant performance, non-toxic and non-corrosive.
Uses:Used as an anti-aging, non-corrosive tackifying resin for solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, solvent-based adhesives and hot-melt adhesives. Also used as an emulsifier, stabilizer and chewing gum base agent. In food applications, it may be used in surface-treated fresh fruits, fruit/vegetable juice beverages and fruit-flavored beverages at a maximum dosage of 0.1 g/kg; for chewing gum base and emulsion flavors, the maximum dosage is 100 g/kg.
