- LDS塑料是以液晶聚合物（LCP）等高耐热树脂为基体、含有激光活化金属复合物添加剂的注塑级热塑性工程塑料。外观通常为黑色或深灰色颗粒，密度约1.40~1.70 g/cm³，热变形温度约260~335°C，长期使用温度高，吸水率低；具有高流动性、优异的尺寸稳定性、耐化学腐蚀性和阻燃性。经激光选择性活化后，可在其表面化学镀铜/镍/金，形成附着力良好的金属线路。

Physical Properties:LDS plastic is an injection-moldable thermoplastic engineering plastic based on a high-heat-resistant resin such as liquid crystal polymer (LCP), containing a laser-activatable metal complex additive. It is usually supplied as black or dark-gray pellets with a density of approximately 1.40–1.70 g/cm³, a heat distortion temperature of about 260–335°C, low water absorption, high flowability, excellent dimensional stability, chemical resistance and flame retardancy. After selective laser activation, copper/nickel/gold circuits can be electroless plated on the surface with good adhesion.
Uses:It is mainly used for smartphone antennas, tablet and wearable-device antennas, as well as three-dimensional molded interconnect devices (3D-MID) in automotive and medical applications. It is also suitable for sensors, connectors, shielding cases and other precision electronic structural parts that require laser direct structuring of metal circuits.
