Physical Properties:Transparent to slightly yellow viscous liquid, combining siloxane and polyether chain characteristics. Soluble in water, alcohols and aromatic solvents. Low surface tension provides smoothness, scratch resistance and anti-blocking properties. Good stability and resistant to hydrolysis.
Uses:Suitable for stabilizing PU foam, used for semi-durable hydrophilic finishing of nonwoven substrates, and can be used as a leveling agent for solvent-based leather topcoats. Provides slip, scratch resistance and anti-blocking properties in waterborne and solvent-based paints, inks and coatings, improving leveling, reducing orange peel, increasing gloss and imparting a smooth silky feel. Prevents pinholes, shrinkage and fisheyes caused by poor wetting on contaminated or low-surface-energy materials.
