Physical Properties:Light yellow transparent granular or flaky solid, thermoplastic resin. Soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ether solvents; insoluble in water and low molecular weight alcohols. Good compatibility with nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber and alkyd resins. Excellent heat resistance and anti-yellowing properties.
Uses:Used in printing inks to improve gloss, hardness and adhesion of ink films; in coatings and varnishes to enhance hardness, water resistance and drying speed of coating films; used as a tackifying resin in adhesives, and also as a modification additive for polymer materials.
