Physical Properties:White crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless, low moisture absorption; slightly soluble in water and hydrolyzes slowly in water; good thermal stability, begins to decompose at about 250°C and decomposes significantly above 300°C; non-flammable, with phosphorus-nitrogen synergistic flame-retardant effect; good compatibility with resins and other substrates.
Uses:It is widely used as a halogen-free, high-efficiency flame retardant in intumescent fire-retardant coatings, plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane and epoxy resin, rubber products, fiberboard and dry powder fire extinguishing agents; it can also be used in water-soluble fertilizer to supply nitrogen and phosphorus to crops.
