Physical Properties:Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid or paste at 25°C. Density approx. 0.95 g/cm³. Flash point >100°C. Easily soluble in ethanol, benzene and other organic solvents; dispersible in water to form emulsion. Exhibits excellent wetting, penetrating, emulsifying and detergency properties with an HLB value of about 8.
Uses:Mainly used for metal surface cleaning, as emulsifying and penetrating components in degreasing agents. Also widely used in textile printing and dyeing as a wetting and penetrating agent, and in pesticide emulsification and industrial cleaning.
