Physical Properties:AEO-3/AEO-4/AEO-7 are colorless transparent liquids at 25 °C, while AEO-9 is a milky white paste. Color (Pt-Co) ≤20; moisture ≤1.0%; pH (1% aqueous solution) 5.0-7.0. AEO-7 and AEO-9 are readily soluble in water; AEO-3 is soluble in oils and polar solvents and dispersible in water. HLB values: AEO-3 6-7, AEO-4 9-10, AEO-7 12-13, AEO-9 13-14. Cloud point (1% aqueous solution): AEO-7 50-70 °C, AEO-9 70-95 °C. Hydroxyl value (mg KOH/g): AEO-3 170-180, AEO-4 150-160.
Uses:This product has excellent emulsifying, detergency and wetting performance. AEO-7 and AEO-9 are readily soluble in water and are widely used as wool scouring agents, degreasing agents, fabric scouring agents, and emulsifiers in liquid detergents, cosmetics and ointments; they also show good emulsifying and dispersing performance for mineral, animal and vegetable oils. AEO-3 is soluble in oils and polar solvents and is used as a W/O emulsifier, PVC plastisol viscosity reducer and fiber oil agent component, and is also the main raw material for producing AES; AEO-4 is suitable for household and industrial cleaning and emulsification.
