Insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, and hexane. As a platinum complex solution, it is relatively stable to air and moisture; store sealed, protected from light, and under low temperature.
Uses:Used as a catalyst for hydrosilylation reactions, widely applied in the crosslinking and modification of organosilicon polymers. It is also utilized in the preparation of adhesion promoters such as phenolic-functional silanes, as well as in addition-curing systems of silicone rubber and silicone resins, and in the synthesis of organosilicon intermediates.
