Physical Properties:Yellow-brown granules; solid content 22% or 24%; viscosity at 25°C is 25 dPa·s; readily soluble in aromatic solvents such as toluene and xylene; good compatibility with certain resins; belongs to chlorinated polyolefin polymer materials.
Uses:Used as an adhesion-promoting resin for PP/EPDM automotive bumper primer coatings, providing excellent adhesion without surface pretreatment of the substrate. It exhibits good compatibility with various coating resins and is readily soluble in aromatic solvents. Suitable for formulating primers for polypropylene substrates and improving coating adhesion on difficult-to-adhere materials such as polypropylene (PP) and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) rubber.
