Uses:Used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical and chemical industries, mainly for the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic drugs and bioactive molecules, such as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor antidiabetic drugs, neurotransmitter analogues, etc. Also used in the preparation of chiral ligands and fine chemicals.
