Physical Properties:Red powder, bright color, high tinting strength. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol; shows violet-red in concentrated sulfuric acid and red precipitate on dilution. Good heat resistance up to 250°C; excellent light and weather fastness; good dispersibility in nitro ink but thickens in water-based ink.
Uses:Mainly used for coloring inks, coatings, plastics and stationery. Suitable for offset inks, surface printing inks, nitro inks; applicable in industrial paint and powder coatings; suitable for coloring PVC, PP, PE, PU, rubber and other plastics; also used in oil paints, colored pencil cores and crayons.
