Physical Properties:Appearance is a pale yellow to white paste or powder. It is readily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline (1% solution pH is about 8-10). It is resistant to hard water and has good foaming, wetting, detergency, and biodegradability.
Uses:Primarily used as an anionic surfactant in the production of laundry powders, liquid detergents, dishwashing liquids, and other household cleaning products. It is also used in industrial cleaning agents, textile printing and dyeing assistants, and as an oil-displacing agent in petroleum recovery. It provides excellent detergency, foaming, and emulsifying performance.
