Uses:Used as an organic synthesis intermediate, mainly for the synthesis of sulfur-containing heterocyclic compounds such as thiazole, pyrimidine and pyridine derivatives; also used as a pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediate for the preparation of functional molecules containing cyano and thioamide groups.
