Uses:Octadecyltriethoxysilane is commonly used as a surfactant, lubricant and release agent to improve surface properties. It can be used as a processing aid and mold release agent in plastics, rubber and coatings industries to improve processing performance and surface quality. It also serves as a raw material for synthesizing silicone intermediates and high-molecular-weight silicone compounds, especially for hydrophobic modification.
