Uses:MOC-L-valine is an N-methoxycarbonyl derivative of valine used as a valine building block in peptide synthesis. The MOC protecting group can be removed selectively under mild conditions. It is also used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals.
