In phosphating of aluminum and its alloys, it seals harmful Al3+ ions to ensure smooth phosphating. Also used as wood preservative, agricultural insecticide, brewery disinfectant, pharmaceutical preservative, soldering flux, alkaline zincate zinc plating additive, and as an auxiliary in enamel and papermaking industries.
