Uses:Used as an analytical reagent, commonly for preparing standard ferrous ion solutions. Also employed as a polymerization catalyst, water purifying agent, and raw material for producing other iron compounds such as iron oxide pigments and magnetic materials. Additionally, it serves as a mordant, tanning agent, wood preservative, and iron supplement in pharmaceutical and agricultural applications.
